SOCH Reusable Inter-Labia Pads

Soch Inter-Labia Pads are small, absorbent, leaf-shaped reusable cloth pads made of high-quality microfibres and combed cotton. They come in a set of 3 and a string to hold them together to help during washing.

The inter-labia pad must be worn between the labia to catch the menstrual flow and must be backed up with a cloth pad or a menstrual cup. The small pad comes with a loop on one end to help with drying the pad.

They are designed to avoid leaks during heavy flow or flow with clots in it. By using an inter-labia pad along with a cloth pad, you can significantly increase the time you can wear your cloth pads.

They are designed to avoid leaks during heavy flow or flow with clots in it. By using an inter-labia pad along with a cloth pad, you can significantly increase the time you can wear your cloth pads.

You can also use the labia pad for daily discharge and mild incontinence, without a backup pad.

Wash the pad before the first use. Ensure it is fully dry before using it.

Inter-labia pad with cloth pad:

To use the inter-labia pad, place it as it is, or fold it in half, or roll up the pad into a cylinder and position it between your labia. The labia, also referred to as the "lips" is the folds of skin just above the vaginal opening.

The pad is held in place only by your labia; therefore, make sure that you have placed it properly.

Following this, use a cloth pad according to flow to back up the inter-labia pad.

The use of the inter-labia pad helps regulate your flow towards the centre of your pad. It is especially useful for those who tend to have side, front, or back leakages.

You can also stitch the inter-labia pad onto your cloth pads so that they stay in place.

Inter-labia pad with menstrual cup:

Squat/find a comfortable position and insert your menstrual cup while being relaxed. Use a fold of your choice.

Once the menstrual cup is in place and has opened up, place the inter-labia pad as it is, by folding it in half, or by rolling it up into a cylindrical shape.

Follow this up with a pair of clean underwear.

Change your pad every 4-6 hours or earlier, depending on your flow. It is not advisable to use it for longer than the recommended time. As the Inter-labia pads are held in place only by the folds of the labia, you must remove them each time you use the toilet. Be careful to not drop them in the toilet.

The Inter-labia pad is small, but it is meant to catch the "gush" that you experience during menstruation. It prevents all the blood from getting onto to your pad.
Preferably, yes. If you are using the labia pad just for white discharge, then you need not. But if you are using it to absorb menstrual flow, then you should back it up with a panty liner, pad or a menstrual cup.
The Inter-labia pad must be folded and placed near the labia; therefore, it may move its position if not properly placed. It is advised to ensure that it is well-placed.

Wash/Care

  • Take out inter-labia pad from between your labia.
  • Make sure you have water to clean it up or a pouch to store the used pad in.
  • Quickly hand-rinse the pad with cold water and mild soap.
  • Hot water sets stains; so be careful to not directly rinse it with hot water.
  • If you do not have access to water, simply squeeze the menstrual blood out and put the used pad in a pouch. Afterwards, soak it in regular soapy water for 30 minutes - 5 hours and rinse it out later. Do not use a brush on the labia pad, as it causes the material to start getting rough.
  • Ensure that no soap remains on the pad after washing.

For machine wash, squeeze out all the blood. Then, use the string provided – run it through the loops at the back of each pad, throw these in the lingerie bag or any cotton cloth bag (optional) and put in the washing machine.

Once washed, hang them to dry in a well-ventilated place with the help of the loop provided on one end.

Store the pad in a clean and dry place.
